i do not care much for that distinction. good and evil
they are words that mean different things to different people
is any man evil, from his own point of view? i do not think so
so i do not care for that. i care for who is on my side, and who is not
that is what matters
how did your friend return? hell is a place for the dead, or so i thought
no subject
thats pretty fair though
be concerned with you and yours first
satan was done with him, i guess
kinda a long story
no subject
satan is real
i have never believed in any of that
but you seem to have a closer perspective than most
no subject
lucifer =/= satan. different entities
and "satan" is more just a vague ultimate bad juju thing
idk sometimes we call him timothy too
but in the sense of hell and something evil in charge of it
yeah theyre right
not so much in that bad people go there when they die, who knows about that
but i dont think, i know
closer perspective, yeah
[ he'd say 'ask marco about the rest' but he doesn't want marco to have to ruminate on it any more than he already does. it wasn't a good time for him, and max still doesn't know the full extent. ]

what do they do?
i have always wondered about it
because you see i am a vampire, so i have never died
but i came close to it, and when i did i saw nothing
no god, no devil
just darkness. so when i heard the things that men believed they seemed ridiculous to me
they made me laugh. until now.
no subject
could be your world's different
or your close to death wasnt deathy enough to get the preview
men still believe some ridiculous shit
dont get me wrong
just some of its almost right
no subject
anyway this has been enlightening, thank you
if that checkmark still stands. may i take you up on it?
no subject
definitely. what'd you have in mind?

no subject
[ that would be yes ]

i am making it my business to explore the taverns here. would you care to join me? ]
no subject
sure. have you been to the old looking one? um something about end of the world. idk.
no subject
will you show me?
no subject
when's good for you?
no subject
i have some problems with daylight. otherwise, i will go when it suits you.
no subject

is that not what people say
have i grown unfashionable??? that is terrible news, what should i say now?
and no. this is my second day, i have not met anyone yet.
[ But he'll meet them in like two days, it's inevitable. ]
no subject
keep saying it like that, its cute
you will, ill show you
[ and heres the handwaved address for witch haus as well ]

[ He'll follow those instructions after dark, and find it easily enough. Once he's close, the scent alone would draw him. He hesitates at the edge of the land, aware of the heat hanging in the air around him.
He'll wait for Max. He's dressed like he stepped straight out of the eighteenth century, complete with dark blue frock coat, buttoned shirt and waistcoat. In fairness, there hasn't been much time for shopping yet. ]

[ once he shows up, the wards places around the house do enough to alert max to the supernatural creature’s presence, and he makes his way downstairs and out the front door. He’s at least dressed in something relatively respectable - a button up plaid shirt, sleeves rolled up to his elbows, and khaki cargo pants. That’s Sunday Best for Max, okay? If he actually ever went to church.
A wide grin strikes across his lips the closer he gets, taking in the man’s outfit. Reaching out, he has to touch, feeling over the fabric and the ascot. ] Look at you, all old school fancy.
no subject
Does that make you new school? I'm afraid this is the best I have.
[ For now. He hates looking out of place. His hand moves up, fingers slipping between Max's. ]
So. Where are we going? I will bow to your superior knowledge of the place.

[ Max laughs, fingers exploring the fabric of his clothes, the rich tailoring, and Rafa's touch on his wrist. Ah, it's going to be a good night. ] It's good, I like it. Classic.
[ it gives Rafa that other worldly feel, and Max loves it a little. Right, where we're going. ] To the tavern at the end of the world. [ har har. ]
Come on, I'll drive. [ Max gives a jerk of his head, towards the dirty Jeep in the driveway not far from them. They aren't taking horses or public transportation, sorry. ]
no subject
In the car machine? They are so much better than anything I knew at home.
[ Because he’s familiar with horse-drawn carriages, you know. The jeep might be dirty, but it looks big and fast, and Rafa’s crooked grin makes no secret of how eager he is to try it. ]
Show me how it works! You know one of these almost hit me when I first arrived. It seems as though they are everywhere.
[ He’s tugging Max towards it now. This was a good call. ]
